Tribute to Primo LEVI, Italian Jewish chemist born on July 31st, 1919 and deported in 1944 to one of the Nazi concentration camps in Auschwitz. Liberated by the Red Army in 1945, he published “If This Is A Man” (“Se questo è un uomo”) in 1947, a testimony to the horrors of the concentrationary life in Auschwitz. He then wrote several works. Primo LEVI killed himself on April 11th, 1987.
